How does Opt-in-Pays pay me to read email?
Opt-in-Pays keeps track of all the emails you read, and credits your account for each email you read. The amount paid for each email varies depending on the performance of that email advertisement.

Why does each email pay a different amount?
Each email advertisement you receive brings in a different amount of revenue. Some advertisements pay based on number of people who read it, the number of people who signed up for service, or for actual purchases made at the advertisers site. Because of this, the revenue can vary greatly depending on the success of the advertisement. Opt-in-Pays calculates the amount you get from reading an advertisement by taking the total money earned from it and dividing up between all those who read that email.

How much of the email earnings go to the users?
For each email adversitement sent out, 75% of the proceeds earned from that advertisement are given to the members. This amount is higher than most other similar profit sharing marketing systems. The rest of the earnings goes to run Opt-in-Pays.

Do you pay to --name-your-country--?
If you can receive payments via PayPal, then we can pay you for reading email. Please check out the PayPal website for details on if you are eligible for a PayPal account.

My PayPal email address is different from my Opt-in-Pays address, how do I get paid?
In PayPal, you can have up to 8 email addresses associated with your account. In order to get paid, you'll need to add the email address you use for Opt-in-Pays to your list of email addresses in PayPal. To do this, click the "add email address" link on your PayPal account page.

I have a Premiere or business account with PayPal, will I get charged a processing fee?
We send our payments using PayPal's Mass Pay feature. Using this feature, you will not be charged any processing fees for receiving the payment.

What links can I get 3 cents for clicking on?
On the links page and int eh daily emails, you can get 3 cents for visiting a site that still has credit left to give away. When a link is put on the links page, it is paid for to give out a certain number of rewards for our members to click on it, depending on how much is paid to put the link on the page. The links that have the most rewards left to give away appear at the top. Once the link no longer has rewards to give out, it'll still appear on the page, but will only appear below the links that still have credit. Occasionally, there are no links that have credit, which means you will not receive anything for clicking on them. See the key on the right side of the links page to see how you can tell which links you can receive credit for clicking on.

How is the exchange rate determined?
Opt-in-Pays gives back 75% of all earnings back to it's members. This includes the bonuses from links and offers as well as the emails you read. The bonus offers and the links are kept track of in dollars since we know exactly how much money is going into the system when those are completed. However, the emails have no predictable amount of earnings that will come into the system, so we use the points system for those. Given the total cash Opt-in-Pays owes for the bonuses and how much has been brought into the system, we can then figure out how much cash is left for the exchange rate of the points into dollars.

What is your policy on members of the same household joining?
Anyone can join as long as they fit the eligibility requirements set in our membership agreement. However, when people of the same household have their own accounts on Opt-in-Pays, it's sets off many red flags that can be seen as possible cheating. We have many checks in the system to not credit those that appear to be cheating and this may also affect those that are from the same household. Our recommendation is that if members of the same household use the same computer to access the internet, that they share an Opt-in-Pays account. Because of the checks in the system, you will not receive any more money by having more than one account within a household, you might actually receive less money from Opt-in-Pays.
